Registration Procedure

Admissions

The academic session begins from the 1st of April every year and extends till the end of March.
Application forms may be obtained from the office from the second week of January. On the availability of vacancy in any of the classes, the candidates go through a pre-assessment, which consists of an interview and a reasoning test examining his level of understanding. The candidate must do reasonably well to qualify in the merit list. In order to take the assessment students must be registered by the second week of March. This is a firm deadline.

Documents required at the time of admission:-

  • Birth certificate/Transfer certificate of the candidate.
  • Four latest coloured passport size photograph of the candidate.
  • Aadhar Card of the candidate.
  • Photograph of the Parents/Guardians.
  • Photograph of the Parents/Guardians.
  • Aadhar Card of the Parents.

Requirement at the time of admission

  • Students usually enter the school when they are of a minimum 3 years and 6 months old as on 31st March of the year of admission (Nursery).
  • Admission to higher classes is purely on merit and will be based on the performance in entrance test.
  • Once the child is selected for admission, the fee amount is to be deposited by the due date, failing which the admission will stand cancelled.
  • At the time of admission, parents will be required to submit a transfer certificate in original counter signed by the District Inspector of Schools (if the child’s previous school is not affiliated to CBSE) and a photocopy of the mark sheet.
  • The date of birth once recorded will not be changed. Date of birth certificate (in case of class Nursery only) to be submitted should be issued from the Registrar Birth and Death.

Qualifying criteria for admission to class XI

Science Stream
(i) Science with Mathematics-
(a) Minimum 70% marks (overall)
(b) Minimum 60% marks in Mathematics and Science

(ii) Science with Biology-
(a) Minimum 70% marks (overall)
(b) Minimum 60 % marks in Science

Commerce Stream
(a) Minimum 60% marks

Optional Subjects
1. Hindi (Science /Commerce)
2. Physical Education (Science/Commerce)
3. Computer is available only for those who have scored minimum 60 % marks in Mathematics.
4. Mathematics can be offered with Commerce if the candidate has obtained minimum 60% marks in Mathematics.

Withdrawals

  • Withdrawals may be allowed on Parents request before 30th September of the concerned year.
  • Withdrawals if any after 30th September will require a full payment of fee for the complete session.
  • There are no refunds under any circumstances.
  • There are seats reserved for the students from the weaker section of the society.
  • Transfer certificates can be had from the office at least fifteen (15) days after submitting an application to this effect.
