The Seema Agarwal Memorial Inter-School Kabaddi Tournament – 3rd Edition began today at Little
Angels School with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. A total of 12 teams from various schools across the city participated in the event, showcasing remarkable energy and sportsmanship.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Jaiveer Singh, District Sports Officer, and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Jasveer Singh, National Kabaddi Player. They were accompanied by the Director of the school, Dr. Sanjeev Agarwal, the Executive Director, Mr. Ujjaval Agarwal, and the Principal, Mr. N. C. Pathak, whose presence added grace and inspiration to the occasion.
The tournament has been divided into four groups — A, B, C, and D, each consisting of three teams. Throughout the day, all league matches were played between the teams of each group. The atmosphere was charged with cheers, hoots, and excitement as players gave their best performances while spectators passionately supported their favourites.
The PETs of Little Angels School worked diligently throughout the event, ensuring smooth conduct of all matches. Anchoring was done by Vanshika Gupta and Vinayak
Shukla, who also gave a start to the event with confidence and enthusiasm.
After a thrilling day of competition, four teams — Springdale College, Goswami’s Mom’s Pride School, Benhur Gurukul, and Little Angels School — qualified for the semifinals.
The semifinals, finals, and the match for the third position will be played tomorrow, 14th October 2025, marking the exciting conclusion of this grand tournament.
The final day of the Seema Agarwal Memorial Inter-School Kabaddi Tournament – 3rd Edition was held on 14th October 2025 at Little Angels School, marking an exciting conclusion to two days of intense sporting action.
The day began with a floral tribute to Ma’am Seema Agarwal, followed by a warm welcome to the distinguished guests — Mr. Kapil Dev, President, District Football Association; Mr. Abhijeet Anand Singh and Mr. Harsh Kanchan, Co-founders of IFSAA; and Mr. Anand Maurya, noted social worker and sports enthusiast.
In the first semifinal, Goswami’s Mom’s Pride School defeated Springdale College, while in the second semifinal, Little Angels School triumphed over Benhur Gurukul. The final match witnessed a thrilling contest between Goswami’s Mom’s Pride School and Little Angels School, with Little Angels School emerging as the champions.
The third-place match was played between Benhur Gurukul and Springdale College, where Springdale College secured the third position.
The two-day tournament concluded on
a high note, celebrating team spirit, determination, and true sportsmanship, leaving behind moments of pride and glory for all participating schools.
