The much-awaited 12th Inter-House Athletic Meet of Little Angels School unfolded with tremendous zeal on the 28th and 29th of November at the Gandhi Stadium. The two-day event was a spectacular blend of excitement, competitive spirit, and remarkable athletic talent displayed by students across all classes.
A Fun-Filled and Energetic Event
Director of the school Dr. Sanjeev Agarwal ,in the presence of Principal Mr. N.C.Pathak ,Vice Principal Mrs.Anju Saxena,Headmistress Mrs. Neena Mehrotra ,declared the 12th Athletic meet open and made the students and athletes take oath of sportsmanship for the event. The event started just after the ceremonial torch lighting, proudly carried around the ground by the school’s Sports Captains.
Students from all four houses participated in a diverse range of track and field events, making the stadium come alive with energy. The meet featured:
Track Events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m
Relay Races: 4×50m and 4×100m
Field Events: Shot put, discus throw, long jump
Categories included Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior for both boys and girls.
Not only were the athletes performing with full enthusiasm, but the teachers of each house stood as strong pillars behind their teams. They constantly motivated, encouraged, and boosted the morale of their students, turning the field into an arena of true sportsmanship. Their cheers echoed from the stands, making the competition feel grander and more spirited.
The sports department remained on their toes for both days, coordinating events, guiding participants, and managing every detail with absolute dedication. Their hard work was the backbone of this successful athletic meet.
The atmosphere throughout the event was electric. Every participant entered the track with a killer instinct—ready to give their best, push limits, and compete with heart. It truly felt like a mega competition where every child seemed like a winner, showing resilience, determination, and a fighting .
After two days of thrilling contests, Penumbra House claimed the title of Overall Champion, delivering consistent and exceptional performances across categories.

The meet concluded with a proud prize distribution ceremony where winners were honoured for their remarkable achievements by the Director of the school Dr. Sanjeev Agarwal ,Principal Mr. N.C.Pathak. The event stood as a glowing reminder that sports not only build physical strength but also instil discipline, confidence, and unity.
