Description: The society of the promotion of the Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst the youth (SPIC MACAY) is a voluntary youth movement which promotes our Indian Cultural Heritage.
It promotes Indian classical music, classical dance, folk dance, yoga, meditation, crafts and other aspects of Indian culture.
Little Angels School, Pilibhit in collaboration with the SPIC MACAY society, hosted the rendezvous session with the foremost exponent of Flute and Shehnai, an internationally celebrated artist Pt.Rajendra Prasanna. He is recognised for his unique ability to play to instruments at a highest level, which is a very rare skill in the field of Hindustani Music. He comes from a traditional family of musicians of the renowned Banaras Gharana. Pt.Rajendra Prasanna gave a soulful performance along with other dignified artists, Pt.Dev Jyoti ji on Tabla (form Tripura) Shahzad Khan Sahab played Tanpura and Samyak Parashari played Flute.
The Director of school Dr.Sanjeev Agarwal, Principal Mr.N.C.Pathak, teachers and students all at Little Angels school thoroughly enjoyed the big show and all sat to feel ethereal.
