The Spell Bee Competition at Little Angels School, held for students from Classes 3 to 12, was an exciting and educational event conducted in three progressive rounds, with enthusiastic participation from all classes.
Round 1: General Dictation Test The competition began with a general dictation test in which all students from Classes 3 to 12 participated.
The event saw 100% attendance and participation, showcasing the students' eagerness. This round tested students on various words, with 40% of participants qualifying for the next stage.
Round 2: Written Spelling Test - The students who passed Round 1 proceeded to Round 2, where they took a written spelling test. Words were spoken aloud, and the students had to write them correctly. This round further filtered the participants, allowing only the top 10% of qualifiers to advance to the final stage.
Round 3: Oral Spell Check The finalists from Round 2 competed in an oral spell check, which was held on the school stage. Each finalist demonstrated their spelling skills in front of an audience. It was an intense yet thrilling experience as they tackled challenging words with accuracy.
Finally, the champions were selected from each class, and the event concluded with great appreciation for all participants and winners. The Spell Bee competition not only boosted the students' vocabulary and spelling skills but also encouraged a spirit of healthy competition across all classes.
